My Story
Our experiences, unique temperaments, and stories told within our family systems may shape our identities in ways that are helpful but can also hinder us from getting what we want. Our identities may be lost along the way as we navigate safety and security. My personal journey in therapy helped me revisit parts of myself that were hard to acknowledge. I learned to integrate all my parts, and love and nurture them. Feeling whole means we are ready to cross the bridge between healing and reaching personal fulfillment, improving self-esteem and relationships, identifying our values, and using that as our compass to navigate the nuanced and complex challenges and wonders that we call life.
Embodying wholeness means being more flexible and confronting fast-paced changes we can’t control. Learning that I couldn’t control my environment but have choices brought me to this fulfilling career in helping others recognize they have the resources they need to solve problems; they don't have to be stuck in rigid patterns and negative thoughts, but they can break free and become more flexible. With flexibility comes the knowing of self-compassion and self-growth. With that awareness, we can break unhealthy patterns acquired from generations of pain and commit to planting seeds of resilient and empowered children. We are part of this ecosystem--by rebuilding community we can co-create a sustainable future.
